Things to See in Canyonlands National Park

Canyonslands is a great National park in the state of Utah. It is famous for its giant rock structures called the needles, but that is not the only thing that is worth seeing. There are a number of beautiful attractions in this park.

So when visiting make sure you see the following attractions.

1. The Mesa Arch

The Mesa arch is a beautiful arch which hovers over a giant cliff. The hike to the arch is very easy, everyone can pull off this short .5 mile hike. This may not be a very challenging hike but the view is spectacular none the less.

The arch is named the Mesa arch because you can see the arch during the middle of the hike. Visiting this attraction during the sunset will give you an unbelievable photograph opportunity of the sun setting underneath the giant arch.

2. The Grand View

The grand view is located at one of the highest points in the national park. It is the closest thing you will get to being able to see all 3 sections of Candylands National Park at the same time. There are a number of great photo opportunities off of this stunning view point.

3. The Needles

The candylands national park needles are spectacular to see. They are the most famous monuments in the park, which is reason enough to go and visit them. These beauties really paint a picture of how massive nature can really be. They are definitely worth visiting if you have the time.
